Shipping Policy - The Basics 

At Stoned Cherrie, we believe the journey of your acquisition should be as considered and refined as the pieces themselves. From our atelier in South Africa to your home, every step is handled with meticulous care, ensuring an experience that is seamless and secure. 

 

Order Processing & Fulfilment 

All orders are personally processed and meticulously prepared within the lead time specified for each product in Cape Town. You will receive an order confirmation email immediately upon purchase. Once your item is carefully inspected, packed, and dispatched, a second email will follow with your dedicated tracking number and a link to follow its journey. 

Please note, we do not process or ship orders on South African public holidays or weekends. 

Shipping Methods & Partners.

We partner exclusively with world-class courier services to guarantee the security and timely arrival of your order. 

Within South Africa: 

We offer both standard and express services through our trusted partners. Signature confirmation is required upon delivery for your peace of mind. 

For national deliveries, the following timeframes apply: 

  • In-stock items: 5–12 days 

Please refer to each product listing for specific lead times. 

For international deliveries, please email info@stonedcherrie.co.za. We will generate an order and provide details regarding shipping fees, estimated timelines, and any applicable import duties. 

 

Shipping Costs 

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the destination, dimensions, and value of your purchase. This fee will be transparently displayed before you finalize your order. 

International Shipping: Important Considerations 

As the importer of record, you are responsible for any import duties, value-added taxes (VAT), and customs clearance fees levied by your country's government. These charges are not included in the item price or the shipping cost paid to Stoned Cherrie and are typically collected by the courier upon delivery. 

We highly recommend consulting your local customs authority prior to placing an order to understand these potential costs. Stoned Cherrie has no control over these charges and cannot predict the final amount. 

Returns, Exchanges & Damages 

To initiate a return, please contact our Client Services team at info@stonedcherrie.co.za 

· Upon receipt and inspection, a refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 10 business days. Original shipping fees are non-refundable and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the client. 

Furniture: 

Due to the made-to-order nature of our furniture collections, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on furniture items. 

Damaged or Defective Items: 

Your complete satisfaction is our utmost priority. In the unlikely event your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately at info@stonedcherrie.co.za within 48 hours of delivery. Please provide your order number and detailed photographs of the item and its packaging. We will swiftly guide you through the resolution process, which may include repair, replacement, or collection. 

For furniture, this 48-hour reporting window is strictly enforced to facilitate any necessary claims with our logistics partners.
